JoCo Bin Co ("JoCo," "we," "us") rents reusable moving bins in Johnson County, Kansas and the greater Kansas City metro. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to jocobinco.com and to our booking and rental services.
We ask for a pickup address at booking, but you can supply it later if your move isn't settled yet.
We never see or store your full card number. Payments are processed by Stripe, which collects and stores your card details directly under its own security standards. We receive only limited information from Stripe — the last four digits, card brand, expiration, and whether a charge succeeded — which we use to identify your payment method and to apply charges you have authorized under our Terms & Conditions.
Our website and booking platform record standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring site. Our booking platform uses cookies necessary to keep your cart and session working. We do not currently run advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy before doing so.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent, trade, or share it for anyone else's marketing.
We share information only with service providers who help us operate, and only as much as they need:
We may also disclose information where required by law, by subpoena or court order, or where necessary to protect our rights, our property, or someone's safety. If our business is ever sold or transferred, customer information may transfer as part of that transaction.
If a realtor or other third party purchases a Moving Credit or funds your booking, we tell them only what they need to know for that transaction. Where a third party funds your booking directly, we may confirm the total amount with them before delivery, as described in our Terms & Conditions. We do not give them your address, your access instructions, or the contents of your move.
We may call or text the number you provide about your rental — to confirm delivery, notify you of a charge before we apply it, or reach you about access at your address. These are service messages related to your booking, not marketing. Standard message and data rates may apply. You can ask us to stop texting at any time by replying STOP or emailing us.
We keep booking and payment records for at least the period required by Kansas and federal tax and business record rules — generally a minimum of three years, and longer where a longer retention period applies. We keep access instructions such as gate codes only as long as needed for your rental and any repeat business. You may ask us to delete access instructions at any time.
We use reputable service providers, access-controlled business accounts, and multi-factor authentication where available. Card data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our systems. That said, no method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affecting your personal information occurs, we will notify you as required by Kansas law.

We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first, and we may not be able to delete records we are required to retain for tax or legal reasons.
If you live in a state with additional privacy rights, tell us and we will honor those rights where they apply to us.
Our services are intended for adults. Our Terms & Conditions require customers to be at least 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as our business changes. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use our services after a change means you accept the updated policy.
